Every Le Papillons set comes in 4 sizes — XS, S, M, and L — each covering all 5 fingers. Use the chart below to find your size in under 2 minutes.

Note: If your measurements fall between sizes, it is recommended to select the larger size or choose the majority fit — whichever size fits the most fingers wins.

How to measure your nails

Get a ruler or tape measure

A soft fabric tape measure works best. Alternatively, use a thin strip of paper, mark the width, then measure the paper with a ruler.

Measure the widest point

Place your ruler or tape across the widest part of your nail — from one side edge to the other. Do not measure along the tip or near the cuticle.

Record in millimetres (mm)

Write down the measurement for each of your 5 fingers. Your thumb will be widest, your pinky narrowest.

Match to the chart above

Find your measurement in the size chart. One size covers all 5 fingers — choose the size where the majority of your fingers fit. If between sizes, go larger.

Sizing tips

📏 Between sizes?

Always go larger. A slightly wider nail sits better and lasts longer than one that is too narrow and lifts at the sides.

🔄 Majority fit rule

Choose the size where most of your fingers fit best. If 3 fingers fit M and 2 fit S, order M. Your set comes with all 5 nail sizes for that kit.

✂️ File to fit

All nails can be gently filed on the sides after application to fine-tune the fit. File inward only — never outward — using a soft nail file.
